NCAA Bracket Update 2011: The 64 Teams of NCAA Bracket Completed - The first round of the NCAA Basketball tournament is done.

The top 64 teams are now set to start their journey to the NCAA championship. From the first four matches, the four teams who won their respective game occupied the remaining slots in the bracket. Let us see what happened in their game.

UNC-Asheville vs AR-Little Rock. The opening game for the "First Four" was an exciting one. Matt Dickey sent the game to overtime with UNC-Asheville dominated the last minute of the game. The Bulldogs won 81-77. J.P. Primm and Matt Dickey led UNC-Asheville with 22 points each.

Clemson vs UAB. Clemson Tigers were strong as they defeated UAB Blazers in a 70-52 game Tuesday. Jerai Grant scored 22 points. The Tigers had an early double-figure lead on which the Blazers didn't come up to cut it.

UT-San vs Alabama St. Melvin Johnson III scored 29 points to push the Roadrunners in a 70-61 win over the Alabama, 25 points was scred in the first half. Jerome Hill added 14 points and 11 rebounds while Devin Gibson aded 10 points. The Roadrunners will take Ohio State in the second round.

USC vs VCU. Jamie Skeen scored 16 points with 9 rebounds as he lead his team to a 59-46 victory agains USC. Joey Rodriguez added 8 points and five assists for VCU. They will face Georgetown in the second round.

NCAA Bracket Upate 2011: The "First Four" on Men's Basketball Tournament - The “Big Dance” is here! Finally, the 68 teams filled the bracket after the selection held last Sunday. Are you ready to have your winning NCAA bracket? Have it now and join the contest!
A change has been made in the tournament this year. From the original 64 teams, the tournament features 68 teams with a “First Four” opening round on March 15, 2011 that will be held in UD Arena, University of Dayton, Dayton, OH.

Here is the game schedule for the "First Four" games. You can watch the opening game on Turner Broadcasting’s truTV. The following games of the NCAA Basketball Tournament will be going to air on CBS, ESPN, TNT, TBS and truTV.

(The winner will face the Pittsburgh Panthers on Thursday.)

ACC Tournament 2011 Live Game Schedule and Live Stream Channels


There's more to come! The ACC tournament 2011 is scheduled to play this coming Thursday, March 10, 2011. The ACC bracket lead by North Carolina at No. 1, Duke went down to No. 2 while Florida State is seeded third.  Clemson clinched the fourth seed and get a first round bye. Boston College beat Wake Forest March 6 on which they sent Virginia Tech to No. 6 seed.

SEC Tournament Bracket and Live Game Schedule - Let's take a look in SEC's bracket on which there are also lot of talented teams. The SEC Basketball Tournament 2011 is scheduled to play starting March 10 to 13, 2011.

The Florida Gators top the standings followed by Alabama, Kentucky, and the Mississippi St. Bulldogs. These top four teams get a first-round byes and will wait for their opponet after on Thursday's matchups pair with the non-bye teams from each division according to their standing.

The action starts on Wednesday with the first round followed by quarterfinals on the next day. After that, it's the semifinals on Friday and then the Big 12 Championship game sets Saturday.

My NCAA Bracket is Currently Blank


I am sure that all of us are very exciting for the upcoming NCAA Basketball Tournament. Are you ready to have your blank NCAA Bracket ? Have one on time and get your lucky picks! March Madness is very near!


I prepared my NCAA bracket 2011 and I am starting to make predictions (well, I'm just pretending that I am an expert for this). But I will rely on expert's predictions and tips!


By the way, what is March Madness? According to what I have read, the term "March Madness" was coined by Henry V. Porter in 1939. H. V. Poter was an official with the Illinois High School Association. Maybe it is also became a trending term as the basketball tournament held during the month of March.


Who will be the champion this year? One thing I'm sure about it, it will be a big basketball action that will buzz not only America but also the fans around the world who loves sports! Be sure that you will have the NCAA bracket update 2011 this March!
